As we age, you might start noticing wrinkles on your forehead, around your eyes (resembling what looks like crow’s feet) between our eyebrows, around the nose and mouth. Your skin begins to lose its elasticity and volume. To prevent these dramatic changes there are treatments known as dermal fillers. The dermal filler treatment involves injectable gels that are a non-surgical solution to newly formed lines and wrinkles. These fillers help restore collagen to the skin and may last up to a year. The following products are considered “fillers” and are used to smooth out facial lines.
Areas of the Face where Fillers are used
(1) Chin Wrinkles
(4) Vertical Lip Lines
(5) Marionette Lines
(6) Mouth Lines Corner
(7) Smile Lines
(9) Upper Eyelashes
The hyaluronic acid is a compound, which is naturally present throughout our body. Amongst many other uses, it works to provide volume and hydration, protecting against free radicals and increase the embryogenesis capacity.
In capmed we use hyaluronic acid, which is not animal-based, non-toxic, biocompatible and biodegradable, therefore, the security of our treatments is fully guaranteed.
The infiltrations of hyaluronic acid with micro-cannulas are cutting edge technology. This technique is non-invasive, given that the micro-cannulas have blunt heads that do not damage tissues. This technique allows a better distribution of the hyaluronic acid and does not produce hematomas.
Hialuronic Acid filling is specifically recommended to achieve results in:
- Skin’s rehydration
- The correction of facial depressions
- Remodelling facial zones
- Correcting expression lines
- Holding facial structures
This treatment is not recommended in the case of:
- Allergy to chicken’s protein
- Allergy to egg’s protein
1st Session: application of the hyaluronic acid vials as established by the doctor.

Subsequent sessions: in order to maintain the results and depending on the patient’s type of skin the sessions will be arranged during the following 6 to 12 months.
The results start to be seen a few hours after the application. Maximum results are achieved after two weeks and remain for 6 to 12 months, depending on the individual and the type of application.
